Spring 2011 Makeup Trends

A new take on the smokey eye. Putting the dark colors on the inner corners of the eye instead of the outer is the new trend. I also noticed a lot of navy blues and golds, something very earthy.

Brights! My favorite trend of the spring time. Just a sweep of a bright tone across the lid with a simple liner and a bright lip to match! Or tone down the look with a nude lip instead. Either way don't be afraid to go bold and be bright!

The flawless natural looking face is also very in and I love it! keep it neutral the whole way through or add a pop with a bright matte/chalky lip. We are staying away from the glosses this spring.

Board game night at our house...this is what i came up with. Letters are made of fondant, and painted with a mixture of water and frosting tint.

outer space cupcakes

a friend of mine asked me to make galactic cupcakes for her son's birthday and here's what i came up with it was super fun and super easy. Gum balls and peach rings for the planets, runt bananas for moons, star sprinkles from Michaels Craft Store, and little aliens from Michaels too!
