Dressing for My Interview

I grabbed a bunch of random clothes and tried them on in different ways and then took pictures of my favorites so that I can look at them to decide exactly which outfit to wear.

Most often i do cupcakes, but this time around i got the opportunity to do a cake, it was so much fun, I want to keep doing more and more. However I still need to figure out stacking techniques.

Talk about some major YUMM!

I made these mini cupcakes for an event at work...it's chocolate espresso!!! I made a devils food cake and replaced the liquid with a strong coffee, top with a coffee buttercream and a chocolate covered coffee bean. What could be better.

Valentines is coming...

are you prepared? Maybe I can help here some simple cupcakes all you need is pink fondant, some buttercream, and your favorite cupcake. Swirl the frosting on the cupcake anyway you like, then take small strips of the fondant and roll them up to make a rose. If you want to add a leaf tint some of the buttercream green and use a decorator tip!

Spring 2011 Makeup Trends

A new take on the smokey eye. Putting the dark colors on the inner corners of the eye instead of the outer is the new trend. I also noticed a lot of navy blues and golds, something very earthy.

Brights! My favorite trend of the spring time. Just a sweep of a bright tone across the lid with a simple liner and a bright lip to match! Or tone down the look with a nude lip instead. Either way don't be afraid to go bold and be bright!

The flawless natural looking face is also very in and I love it! keep it neutral the whole way through or add a pop with a bright matte/chalky lip. We are staying away from the glosses this spring.
